Real Madrid Stadium Tour
The Real Madrid Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is one of the world’s most famous and prestigious football venues. It is owned by one of the best football clubs in the world (at the moment), Real Madrid C.F. The stadium has also hosted the European Cup final on three occasions and the 2010 Champions League final.
Visiting the Real Madrid Soccer Stadium is one of the essential things to do in Madrid list, if you’re interested in getting a deeper understanding of the Spanish culture. European football is a staple of Spanish life and in the right season, will dominate the entire city of Madrid.
There are daily visits to Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu Stadium throughout the year. These tours take place every day from 10.00am until 7.30pm and from 10.30am to 6.30pm on Sundays and public holidays. They also close 5 hours before kick off on matchdays and on the day after a match (except Sundays when they do open).
What is included in the tour:
The Real Madrid Stadium Tour starts in one of the 8 panoramic lifts at the stadium, giving visitors an idea of the greatness of the team and the Club. From the mainstand, you can take in an excellent view of the stadium. Then, you’ll proceed to the Trophy Room where the European Cups, Intercontinental Cups, League titles, Spanish Cups, UEFA Cups, Spanish and European Super Cups, and all of the most impressive track records the football club has, are on display. The trophy exhibition includes videos of legendary fixtures, historical kits, pictures of players from the first team, boots and equipment and a vast array of club-related memorabilia.
You’ll then get to walk around the pitch, before proceeding to the Presidential Balcony, a special area reserved for Real Madrid Board Members, important personalities and special guests. It is also the place where numerous Real Madrid captains have received many of the titles the team has won.
For many visitors, the highlight of the Real Madrid Stadium Tour is a visit to the dressing room. The Real Madrid Stadium has some of the most modern dressing rooms in the world. Due to privacy and security reasons, the tour only includes the visitors’ dressing room, where you can imagine the excitement players feel before and after a game at the Bernabeu.
Access is restricted to some areas if you visit on a match day.
